Siouxsie Sioux has composed music for the ‘Hannibal’ Season 3 finale

Siouxsie Sioux of Siouxsie and the Banshees has composed a piece of original music to be featured on the season 3 finale episode of Hannibal.

With regard to the show’s imposing score, Bryan Fuller claimed “The music needed to be psychological, it couldn’t’ be melodic. It needed an insidious capacity to get under your skin.” Additionally, Siouxsie Sioux of Siouxsie and the Banshees has composed a piece for the series, most likely to be heard in the finale.

Siouxie and fellow Banshee Steven Severin reunited with Marc Almond at a season 3 premiere event for Hannibal in the UK back in June. it would appear that the seeds of Siouxsie‘s involvement with the show may have been born at this premiere event.

NBC’s Hannibal Finally Gets a Premiere Date

Hannibal - Season 1

Hannibal will soon be taking a bite out of NBC’s Thursday lineup. Bryan Fuller’s long-awaited TV adaptation will premiere on Thursday, April 4 at 10/9c, the network confirms. A contemporary take on the characters from Thomas Harris’ Red Dragon novel, Hannibal focuses on the fledgling relationship between FBI agent Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and his mentor Hannibal Lecter. Hannibal will fill the void left by Do No Harm, which was pulled off the schedule last week after two low-rated episodes. (Law & Order: SVU encores will occupy the Thursday-at-10 perch through March.) The stellar cast also includes Laurence Fishburne as FBI agent Jack Crawford and Wonderfalls’ Caroline Dhavernas as an FBI consultant. X-Files’ Gillian Anderson will also appear as Lecter’s shrink. Hannibal will roll out internationally across Sony Pictures Television Networks’ AXN international channels in the days following the NBC premiere.
